Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) is a scientific approach and practical solution designed to prevent harm caused by infection to patients and healthcare workers. IPAC occupies a unique position in the field of patient safety and quality. Infection Prevention & Control practices are important in maintaining a safe environment for everyone by reducing the risk of the potential spread of disease. These practices are designed to reduce the risk of hospital associated infections and to ensure a safe and healthy hospital environment for our patients, healthcare providers and visitors.
The aim of this one-day course is to equip individuals with the right knowledge and skills to provide leadership and promote best practice in infection prevention.
