Modern healthcare is delivered by multidisciplinary, distributed healthcare teams who rely on effective teamwork and communication to ensure effective and safe patient care. Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety (TeamSTEPPS) is an evidence-based set of teamwork tools designed to optimize team function, and ultimately patient outcomes. It is designed to improve the quality, safety, and the efficiency of health care. TeamSTEPPS has five key principles. It is consist of team structure and four teachable – learnable skills: Communication, Leadership, Situation Monitoring, and Mutual Support.

Training Methodology
